Meeting Place:
Burrington Combe is a scenic valley on the B3134 about 15 miles south of Bristol. It is sign posted from the A38.

From here a short walk from the car park up this valley (250 meters) will take us to Goatchurch Cavern. This cave is mostly dry and is a very popular beginners cave. The passage begins easily and then splits into a complex of crawls, climbs and chambers. There are some interesting geological features including stalactite flowstones and lots of fossils. This session should last approximately two hours. Followed by lunch lasting about one hour.
Next we drive to Priddy, a six mile drive from Burrington and location of the afternoon caving session. After kitting up on Priddy Green and a short walk (200 meters), we will arrive at Swildon's Hole. This is a wet cave offering beautiful cave scenery and a lively stream way with several waterfalls. This trip should last about two hours.
Starting Times:
The meeting time will be 10.00am. There will be a
break for lunch between about 1.00 - 2.00pm and finish
at about 4.30pm.
